The Martins Ferry Board of Education would like to begin a program of volunteer tutors at the elementary school in Martins Ferry. This program will begin with addressing the students who need help with language arts in the 3rd grade and eventually expand to other content areas and grades. The volunteers will be required to complete a background check (paid for by the school) and work with the teachers to provide the needed content to the students.
